Elena Paulino, LMSW
I am a mindfulness rooted Therapist/ Licensed Master Social worker passionate about making people aware of their strengths and encouraging them to reclaim their power in a society that tells us we are small and unworthy. I believe patient centered therapy is one of the best tools available to help individuals become aware of their repressed traumas and self-sabotaging behaviors. After coming to awareness and acceptance, I believe it is important to compassionately teach appropriate coping skills, accountability, boundaries, and self-love.
I will gently guide you through your journey of self-discovery and healing with journal prompts, mindfulness and gratitude practice. I utilize a Solutions Focused and Psychodynamic approach in my practice and will pull from a variety of other modalities tailored to your goals and needs.
I teach and heal from the core of my blackness and womanhood with a tender understanding of the trauma and fatigue caused by systemic oppression.
